Kit and the staff is nothing less then wonderful! I have trusted him for several years now with my vehicles. He will not try and "pull the wool" over your eyes. He does honest work and has always stood behind it. I love the fact that every time he needs to do or replace something, he will get ahold of you first to make sure it is okay to move forward. Kit, I recently found myself at your shop after experiencing shifting issues with my Chevy truck. While disappointed in having my truck a short time with not real high miles, your shop was highly recommended and I was told I should go there for any transmission concerns. I was immediately impressed with the honesty and knowledge in addition to listening to my concerns. My truck was worked on in a prompt manor and I found the communication and photos very helpful during the process of the work my truck required.I also found that you explained things clearly and addressed any concerns I had promptly. Unfortunately, while my truck ended up requiring a little additional work, you were able to work with me to get the issue taken care of. A special thanks to staff whom also has a great attention to detail and noticed a minor mistake another garage had made recently which if left unnoticed could have resulted in severe damage (yikes!). My first contact with Lindsay Transmission was to have the transmission repaired on my 2005 Buick Rendezvous which, by the way, was almost 2 years ago and its still running great! More recently, Kit has helped me do some major repairs (including a full transmission overhaul) and updating on my 1964 Thunderbird through his 'Work With a Pro' program. I learned a lot, the car runs wonderfully, and I made a new friend. For anyone who is not really a mechanic, but would like to be able to learn about working on his/her own car, Kit Lindsay is your guy!
